For the past decade, we have worked for mission-driven businesses and non-profit organizations, committed to positively impacting their communities. We have worn many hats spanning leadership, operations, direct service, web development, board leadership, and creative support. After years of friendship, in 2021, we started to collaborate on projects recognizing our values and work aligned closely and our impact was greater when we could combine skillsets. The success of this partnership led us to launch Tide Pool Creative in late 2023 – a design firm that aims to provide affordable, accessible, and sustainable web development and graphic design services to mission-driven businesses, organizations, and communities.
Tide Pool Creative is not just any other boutique design agency or consulting firm. More than just believing deeply in your work, we have first-hand experience navigating the challenges that non-profits and small businesses face in developing sustainable systems and marketing tools.

This isn’t just a cheeky statement to put on the bottom of our client’s websites but is an identification of our goal and purpose. Maine and Brooklyn aren’t just our homes, but are the communities we, live, work, play, and contribute in.
When we say “with love”, we mean that we craft our websites with a deep understanding of our clients’ work, and a strong motivation to address the unique needs of our clients, while working alongside them to identify opportunities to elevate their mission. We lead with our hearts and with the idea that everyone is human and we must show and respect humanity regardless of the process.

Sam is a licensed clinical social worker, entrepreneur, and web designer. Sam has been designing websites for more than 15 years. He works to find creative solutions to everyday pain points. Sam works across social work, operations, and creative teams to achieve an objective. With significant experience in nonprofit operations, web development, graphic design, and the design and implementation of acute behavioral health programs, he brings energy and experience across many industries and sectors. Sam serves on the Board of Directors for Maine Youth Leadership.
Pulling on strong organizational skills, a background in direct service delivery, and efficient project management, Sam will partner with your team to help facilitate this really exciting journey!

Kim is an entrepreneur and a non-profit leader dedicated to empowering community-led programming, movements, and solutions. With over a decade’s worth of experience in project management, direct service delivery, business operations, design, web development, and fundraising, Kim has worked on a diverse portfolio of projects throughout her career. She is passionate about partnering with small businesses and non-profits to create customized and easy-to-maintain solutions that address their unique challenges. Kim is a community-oriented person who thrives in collaborative environments. Her superpower is her ability to simultaneously hold the big picture and the details that make it happen. Originally from Maine, Kim currently divides her time between Maine and Brooklyn, NY. She is excited to collaborate with your organization and help you achieve your bold visions!
